  20. Seek ye a program called RDBPrefs.  It will allow you to enable and 
  21. disable sync mode.

  27. A hot topic at the moment, but one thing about its SCSI-II capability is 
  28. that if you enable sync mode, it has to be for all drives or none. I'm 
  29. lucky, both of the drives currently on my 3000 can handle it.  I have to 
  30. disable it to do tape backups, though.
